What can I expect at my first appointment?

The first appointment is an examination only, where we look at the teeth, gums, and mouth. We’ll take any x-rays that need to be taken to update your dental records. Depending on the results of our examination we may decide to initiate treatment during your first visit.

If necessary, we may need to create a comprehensive dental plan before we begin any treatment. During your second appointment, we’ll begin the planning phase of your treatment. Our doctors will review the findings of your exam and x-rays and discuss which treatments are right to move forward with. Treatment will start at the next appointment.

Please note that any payment for costs incurred during your first visit is due at the time when services are rendered.

Note: If you’re experiencing dental pain at the time of your exam appointment, you’ll be seen as an emergency patient so that your immediate dental needs can be met. You will then be scheduled for another appointment to complete the exam.
