Financial Policy

Dental Insurance Information

We do not participate directly with any dental insurance networks. Delta Dental and certain other providers require that insurance payments be mailed directly to the subscriber (the patient). In this case, it is our policy to collect full payment for services rendered on the date that the service is performed.

You’re responsible for your entire account balance. If there is a delay in reimbursement for your claim, you’re expected to pay the balance in full within 30 days of treatment. If dealing with your insurance company becomes difficult, we’ll ask that you take whatever measures you think are necessary to collect on your claim.

Cash, Check, Credit Cards

You can pay for your office visits and any treatments by cash, check, and credit or debit card at the time of service. We are not in-network with any insurance providers, but will file your insurance claims as a courtesy. Please contact our office for more information.

UPDATE; 05/04/2020: OUR OFFICE WILL RESUME NON-EMERGENCY DENTAL TREATMENT ON 05/12/2020. Please CLICK HERE  for changes you will see during your visit.

Due to COVID-19, Lyndhurst Dental Associates will be following the guidelines of the ADA and NC Dental Board to ensure the health and safety of our patients and our dental team.

Our office is treating emergencies only during this time. If you have an emergent need, please call the office as we will be staffed appropriately for your dental needs. We will be in the office for limited business hours during this time. If you call after hours or on a weekend and have a true dental emergency, follow the prompts to be directed to the dentist on call. Otherwise, leave a message and we will contact you during normal business hours and an appointment time will then be scheduled.

Our office will be contacting you to reschedule an appointment if you are presently scheduled. We apologize for any inconvenience. We currently plan to reopen Tuesday May 12th, pending any further changes.

We will continue to update you during this time to the best of our ability. Please stay healthy and safe during this time! We look forward to seeing you all again soon.

Sincerely,
Dr. Porter & Dr. Ayuso
